Privacy policy

The short version. We collect what we need to run the club: your application, your membership, and which posts on your daily list you supported. We never sell your data, never use it for ads, and the Chrome extension never posts, likes or comments for you.
Early Days Club is run by Ertiqah LLC ("we"). This policy covers the website earlydaysclub.com, the application form, the member service at api.earlydaysclub.com, and the Early Days Club Chrome extension. Early Days Club is not affiliated with LinkedIn.
What we collect
| When you apply | Your name, email, LinkedIn profile link, X handle if you give one, your niche, audience size, who you want support from, and the commitments you agreed to. We also record your country (from your connection), a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser type, to stop spam and duplicate applications. |

| If you add a card | Card details go straight to our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep the card brand, last four digits and a Stripe reference, so we know a card is saved and can charge it when you're approved. |
| Your public LinkedIn profile | Once you're a member, we look up your public profile (name, headline, follower count, photo) and your public comments on posts from your daily list. We use this to place you in the right audience size band and to count the support you gave. |
| In the Chrome extension | Your sign-in email, and for posts on your daily list only: that you opened the post, liked it or commented, and how many characters your comment had. It does not send the text of your comments, your feed, your messages, or anything about other pages you visit. |
| Comment ideas | When you click Suggest on a post, the extension sends that post's text to us so we can suggest comment ideas. It only happens when you click, and only for that post. |
| On the website | Google Analytics records visits (pages viewed, rough location, device) so we can see what's working. It loads after you interact with the page. |
What the Chrome extension does on your computer
- It runs only on linkedin.com and talks only to api.earlydaysclub.com.
- It reads the post you're looking at, so it can mark posts that are on your daily list and notice when you like or comment on one of them.
- It stores your sign-in tokens, your daily list and a short queue of support events on your computer (Chrome's extension storage), so it works when the connection drops.
- It never clicks, likes, comments or posts for you. You do every like and comment yourself.
- It contains no ads and no third-party trackers.
How we use it
- To review your application and, if you're approved, charge your membership.
- To match you with members who want to reach people like you, and to build your daily list.
- To count the support you give, run the weekly review, and keep the club fair (for example, spotting copied or empty comments).
- To email you about your application, sign-in codes and your membership.
We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to decide anything about you outside the club.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the club, and only for that:
- Stripe: payments.
- Amazon Web Services (SES): sending email.
- Hetzner: servers that host the member service and database, in the EU.
- Cloudflare: hosting the website and protecting it from abuse.
- A LinkedIn data provider (via RapidAPI): looking up public profile information and public comments.
- AI providers (OpenRouter and TypeSafe): writing comment ideas from the post you chose, and helping check that comments are real and specific. They get the post text or comment text only, not your name or email.
- Google Analytics: website visits only.
Other members see your name, headline, audience size band and the posts you share with the club. They never see your email or payment details.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you're a member. If you leave, are not approved, or ask us to delete it, we delete your account data within 30 days. Payment records we're required to keep for tax and accounting stay with Stripe and in our books for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it: email [email protected].
- Sign out of the extension or remove it at any time. That stops all collection from the extension straight away.
- Cancel your membership by replying to any of our emails.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email members before it takes effect and update the date above.
